Ecological Assessment Emphasis
The objective of the ecological assessment emphasis is to prepare biologists for laboratory/field work in environmental assessment. Twenty seven of our graduates are employed by the Ohio EPA. Other graduates work for municipal and water treatment facility labs where water testing skills are utilized.
Course work will focus on general ecology, environmental toxicology and environmental regulations and laws as associated with environmental issues. Hands-on research opportunities are available to students with the Hancock Watershed Project.
