The biology major is focused on preparing students for graduate work or a career in biological sciences.  Students within the major are encouraged to complete an internship within their area of specialization or complete a research project under the direction of a faculty mentor.  These opportunities provide real-life experiences which have resulted in employment opportunities or graduate school admission for many of our students.

Students wishing toenter medical school are encouraged to complete BIOL 300, 302, 412, 412L, 440,CHEM 450, and MATH 142
