Biology Major and Emphasis Areas

General Biology Major
The general biology major is flexible and broad to provide students with every opportunity to blend their study of biology with course work from other disciplines within the College of Sciences including mathematics, computer science, and environmental science.  Students majoring in general biology are encouraged to complete an internship within their area of specialization.  Internships provide real-life experiences which have resulted in employment opportunities or graduate school admission for many of our students.
