Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health
Bachelor of Science Degree Program The bachelor degree was first established in 1986 and is based upon a solid foundation of science, analytical skills and management techniques. The bachelor’s degree includes course work in the areas of; environmental management, emergency management, environmental compliance, and safety practice. The program has graduated over 400 students with an additional 650 graduates, all of which found jobs after graduation. UF’s environmental programs provide students with paid internship and cooperative positions along with summer time employment which allow students to gain practical on-the-job experience.
Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Management Curriculum
To receive your bachelor of science degree from The University of Findlay, you must also complete BS/Graduation and Degree Requirements in addition to your environmental, safety and occupational health management curriculum.
An environmental, safety, and occupational health management major consists of the 33 1/2 hours within the environmental, safety, and occupational health management core, three hours of specialized training courses, 30 hours of required math and science courses, and the completion of ESOH elective courses. Students may take as many of the School of Environmental and Emergency Management (SEEM) training courses as they choose; however, only six hours (including the required courses) may be counted toward graduation.
