Scholarships
Students in the undergraduate program may apply to the University for financial aid by contacting the Office of Financial Aid. Financial aid takes many forms including scholarships, loans and grants. The Office of Financial Aid can provide you with additional information on these programs.
Scholarships that students in the bachelor's degree program may be eligible for include the following:
- Ohio Environmental Health Association, George Eagle Memorial Scholarships (www.oeha.org)
- The Ohio Academy of Science, OEPA Environmental Scholarships
- National Science Foundation, Graduate Research Fellowships (www.orau.org/nsf/nsffel.htm).
The following scholarships can be applied for by contacting the Office of Financial Aid at the University of Findlay.
- William J. Jutte Memorial Scholarship - awarded to students in the environmental, safety and occupational health major
- Environmental Safety and Health Scholarship - awarded to students in the environmental, safety and occupational health major
- Whirlpool Foundation Scholarship for Women and Minorities - awarded to junior-year student majoring in environmental, safety and health management who has at least a 2.75 G.P.A.
- Donald C. Higgins Scholarship - awarded to students majoring in environmental, safety and health management...whose hometown residence must be in a county served by the Northwest District Office of the Ohio EPA
- Katharine Ballard Reed Memorial Scholarship - awarded to students in the field of natural sciences with outstanding academic records entering their junior or senior years
- Sharer-Van-Dorn-McGranahan Scholarship - awarded to students in hope that they become stewards of the land
- Glenn & Helen Stout Scholarship - awarded to students interested in atmoshperic or water sciences
- Dow U.S.A. Science Scholarship - awarded to a junior or senior with at least a 3.0 G.P.A. that is a declared science major
