The 32-acre James L. Child Jr. Equestrian Complex, four miles south of the main campus, houses the English Equestrian Program. Students have access to two indoor arenas, an outdoor sand ring and a grass jumping field. The facility accommodates more than 130 horses, and there are many grass turnout paddocks, some with loafing sheds and automatic waterers. Seven wash stalls, tack lockers and a large classroom are conveniently located inside the stall barns. Students may be viewed from the comfort of a heated viewing lounge overlooking the  large arena. Also housed at the James L. Child Jr. Equestrian Complex is the University Equine Veterinary Services, Inc., a veterinary clinic offering emergency and routine surgery services for the general public. The clinic, operated under the direction of three University staff veterinarians and a staff board-certified equine surgeon, provides a unique observation experience for Findlay office are located in the largest arena.
 The 150-acre South Campus, located eight miles south of main campus, houses the Western Equestrian and Pre-Veterinary Studies programs. The facilities feature over 300 stalls, three indoor arenas and an outdoor sand ring. Paddocks and round pens are available for turn-out.
A separate Pre-Veterinary Science and Reproduction building has a classroom, lab for reproductive work and a veterinary office.
The largest arena, and connecting stall barn, has wash stalls, a classroom, student lounge, tack lockers and the barn managers' office. This barn has the capacity of housing over 200 horses.
South Campus is also home to the Pre-Veterinary barn which houses a variety of animals including, sheep, goats, pigs, cattle and horses. This barn provides extensive, hands-on experiences for the Pre-Veterinary students.
