Dressage Program

School Horses - Dressage
Here are just a few of our wonderful dressage horses used in our program.

Scout's Honor is our 17h, 7 yr old Oldenburg by Frohwind, donated by Elizabeth Hoople from Walnut Creek, CA.  During the summer of 2008, Scout had an incredible show season, finishing 3rd out of 54 entries in Training level and 4th out of 46 in 1st level.  Scout ends the season as Reserve Champion at Training level with a median score of 71.2%  Scout is in the Top 30 of Horse of the Year.

Johnson is an 8 yr old Warmblood gelding.  He was raised and donated by Sue Kolstad of Florence, KY.  He is our "Great Dane" of horses, he stands 18 h tall and has a great personality. Johnson has competed at Prix De Ville and at the 2009 IDA National Championships as well as IDA shows held here at UF.

Jordy has fit well into life at UF.  He was donated by Jennie Robicheaux of Houston, TX.  Jordy is an upper level gelding who was shown during the summer of 2008 by a graduate who was working towards her USDF Silver Medal, competing in both 4th level and Prix St. George.  Jordy has good lateral, changes and pirouettes.
Premium is a thoroughbred gelding who was donated by Benny Williams of Versalles, KY.  Premium is a sensitive horse who has a super work ethic and is very obedient.  He is perfect for riders to learn quiet and patience from.  Premium has competed through 2nd level and schooling 3rd.  His dazzling white coat and arena elegance make him very desirable to many.
Allez was donated to the program in late summer of 2008 by Allison Hartman of Honeoye Falls, NY.  Allez had been shown on the eventing circuit and had strong dressage flatwork.  She is a fun mare who does her job.  Allez is used in IDA practices and in shows that are hosted by UF.

These horses are such wonderful assets to our Dressage program. Thank you to all who donated these beautiful and talented horses.
