School Horses - Dressage
Here are just a few of our wonderful dressage horses used in our program.
Pikasso Moon
is an Oldenburg gelding. He is "the big boy in the barn" standing at 18.1h. He was graciously donated by Ms. Elizabeth Bean. Extremely elegant, Pikasso has fit into our dressage program very well.
Joey
is a Warmblood gelding. He is quiet and even tempered and loved by riders of both disciplines. He has been shown successfully in both open and IDA competitions.
Krosby
is a handsome Dutch Warmblood gelding. He has trained to fourth level, with extended trot and piaffe. Brooke Lemke donated him to our program and he has become a wonderful lesson horse.
Huck
is a Dutch Warmblood gelding. This is his first year at the University and also his first semester in the dressage program. He is proving to be an asset to the program.
Finkelstein
is a Thoroughbred/Warmblood cross. Before joining us, Finkelstein performed as a hunter. This is his second year at the University and he is proving to be extremely talented in his lateral work. He is used in both IDA and IHSA shows.
