Happy holidays sports fans!!!  It is such an exciting time of the year.  I can't believe how fast the time has gone since I last sent a whiny out your way!!    I hope you have all been good and had a wonderful holiday season and all......but hey, let's talk about ME!

It has been quite cold here in New Jersey!  So much so that I even lost the joy in ripping my clothes off and watching Betsy's face as she looked at the new blanket in my clenched teeth that she just bought for MOI!  The freezing temperatures make me very content to stay tucked in my nice warm blanket.  (The B was very proud of me!) 

Hmmm, feels like we should be packing up for Florida soon.  I wonder what the delay is.  HA!  Here come the big van!  YIPPPEE!!  Everybody is so excited.  What a great chorus we make whinnying in unison.  What fun it is to rear up at each other and buck in our stalls celebrating.  Sing it everyone "We're going to the Sunsine State!!!"  WOO HOO!!  Here come the Lendi Boots - yup, get em on me kids, not too tight or they will be thinking that I need the chain over my nose to lead me in the van.  But actually, I am huffin and puffin because I am sooo ready to GO!!  I am very special.  I have a box stall all to myself.  I snorted at the dude loading me - he said "eeeazzy boy"...yea right.  Think I'll snort again at him, on second thought, I may need him sometime during the long trip.  I'll show him my sweet side, my big soft eyes and a soft nudge.  Yeah, that's the right move.  Hey, are we there yet??

Ahhh - Florida sunshine.  No blankets, open windows and yes - gators.  Yup, this is how winter should be!  Betsy seems to be traveling a lot.  she is going to other barns this year to ride other horses besides me.  I don't get to see her all day long like I'm used to.  Bummer.  She spends extra time with me and comes back to visit me during the day, but it is not like it was last year.  I'm extra cute and funny when she is here and that will, without a doubt, make her stay longer!  No worries, I have it all figured out.  Anna (my hand maiden and attendant) always spends extra time with me.  I get turned out in the sunshine and I get ridden at 9:30 every morning.  LIFE IS GOOD!  I heard them talking about shows and how they want me to do MORE this season.  I'm ready!!!  I think I am really looking good!!
