English Farm Introduction
Congratulations once again on becoming a member of The University of Findlay family! We are looking forward to meeting you. The University of Findlay has grown their English Equestrian program over the course of the last fifteen years to its current level of national recognition. In an effort to help students become acquainted with our extensive program, faculty, and staff we are inviting freshmen students to attend a mandatory orientation prior to classes beginning. Not only will students participate in various lectures and demonstrations, but relationships with faculty and peers will be established throughout the week. For your conveince, there will be a tack store on the premises for any purchases you may like to make.
Saturday, August 15
9:00 am - 4:00 pm Horse Check in at East Campus
Sunday, August 16
1:00 -3:00 pm Residence Hall (Lovett, Bare, Village) Check In (Please contact Missi x-6913 in Admissions with any questions regarding check-in)
5:00 pm Family BBQ in the Alumni Memorial Union. Families are welcome.
Monday, August 17
6:45 am Breakfast in Henderson Cafeteria
7:30 am Bus pick-up at AMU for transportation to farm
2:30 pm Return to campus
6:00 pm Dinner in Henderson Cafeteria
6:30 pm Meet at the courtyard gazebo
Tuesday, August 18

Transportation to the farm will be provided. Free day.
Registration Day for those that have not registered.
Friday, August 21
Transportation will be provided to the farm for those wanting to come out to the farm. Times will be announced during the week.
Sat-Sun, August 22 - 23
New student orientation on campus.
Monday, August 24
Classes begin.
Reminders:
Please have a pen/pencil and notebook with you at all times while at the farm.
Be sure to stop by the Student Employment and Business Office Booths during campus orientation to fill out the proper student employment paper work.
Bring your checkbook/credit card/cash for any purchase you would like to make at the Tack Shops during the English Equestrian Introduction week.
Bring your social security card and drivers license for student employment. All students need to bring these two items to be paid for required weekend responsibilities at the farm.
