Summer Activities
Young Riders' Clinic The Young Riders' Clinic is a week-long educational experience offered twice during the summer for young riders to experience college life on a small scale. Students will stay in college dorms and will utilize the campus facilities in the evening. During the day they will receive instruction from The University of Findlay instructors and students. Students will bring their own horse or can lease a horse from The University of Findlay for an additional fee. Please refer to the Young Riders' Clinic web page for additional information.
Dressage Schooling Show Series The University of Findlay will host a series of dressage schooling shows. Please check back for dates.
Summer Horse Lease Program The University has horses available for lease on a limited basis for a pre-determined length of time . During the lease it is the responsibility of the lessee to cover the lease fee, farrier and veterinary services. All lessons and training are in addition to these costs, but the horse is available solely to the lessee for the term of the lease. This program is for horses staying at The University of Findlay.
Community Riding Lesson Program During the summer months the University offers riding opportunities for those interested in learning to ride or for those wanting to take their riding to the next level. For more information, please contact the farm at 419-434-4859.
