Glenn Miehls received his B.S. degree in mathematics at The University of Findlay in 1993.  He has since completed both his M.B.A. and M.A. in education degrees.  He works at The University of Findlay and writes the following:

"I have been fortunate enough to have found a career that deals with educating students. My main job is the Assistant Registrar’s position, but I also teach college level statistics and algebra and I help coach basketball.  In all three of these positions, mathematics has been incredibly useful to me. One of the biggest questions that I am asked is ‘what can you use math for?’  The answer to that question is ‘everything’. So, whether it is teaching, coaching, analyzing numbers, or other jobs, my major in mathematics has been very important to me and an important part of my everyday life."

Ben Neff received his B.S. in mathematics and adolescent/young adult integrated mathematics at The University of Findlay in May 2004. He is a middle school mathematics teacher at Glenwood Middle School. He writes:

"My math courses at the University were very challenging and caused me to develop as a student, as a thinker and as an organizer. My understanding of math has helped me to explain ideas and concepts in many different ways. The math faculty has many different teaching styles to help accommodate all students and to find out your own teaching style."
