Mathematics
Mathematics as a field of study will prepare you well for the 21st century. The critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills that are developed through the UF mathematics curriculum of calculus, linear algebra, discrete mathematics and upper level mathematics courses will enable you to succeed in a variety of careers. Some of our recent graduates are teachers, principals, actuarial scientists, database managers and graduate students.
The mathematics faculty will give you personal attention in your classes and advising. The University of Findlay prides itself that mathematics students are able to complete a double major in four years. Many students choose education for their second major, while others choose computer science or another field. Whether you are interested in working in business, education or industry, there are ample job opportunities for a mathematics graduate.
