The University of Findlay was granted a charter of the national honorary mathematics society Pi Mu Epsilon. Charter members are students Kendra Bruns, Jacob Kramer, Nicholas Eby, Erica Keene, Megan McCracken, Ryan McDannell, Danielle Rohal, Brittany Seifert, Justin Shannon, and Jeraco Speelman as well as faculty members Pamela Warton and Anne Albert. Congratulations!

 Judy McCrory, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, spoke on "The ADA and Technology" at the Teachers Teaching with Technology conference in April. Mahmoud Rawashdeh, Assistant Professor of Mathematics,  presented on Maple at a meeting of the Ohio Section of the Mathematical Association of America. 

Chandra Dinavahi, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, had his article "Diagonally Switchable 4-cycle Systems Revisited" published in the Australasian Journal of Combinatorics. Shelly McGee, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, had her paper "Finite Difference Methods for Coupled Flow Interaction Transport Models" published by the Electronic Journal of Differential Equations. Diane Groth attended a conference on mathematics labs (tutoring).

Students Ryan McDannell, Kora Ridings, Erika Keene and Dani Rohal gave presentations at the UF Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity.
