Adolescent/Young Adult/Integrated Mathematics
The adolescent/young adult/integrated mathematics major prepares students to teach by combining mathematics and education courses. This major is offered through the College of Education with cooperative efforts and advising from the College of Sciences mathematics faculty. As a strength of this program, students have experiences in either middle schools or high schools each of their four years of study.
Students receiving the adolescent/young adult/integrated mathematics major are encouraged to also complete the
mathematics - pure mathematics emphasis major
.
