Philip Lucas teaches courses in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science and advises the Criminal Justice/Forensic Science Club and Student Government Organization. He brings thirty years of experience to the classroom after retiring in June of 2004 as a Supervisory Special Agent with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and a member of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. His duties included supervision of all phases of criminal investigations related to Homicide, Organized Crime, Public Official Corruption, Financial Crimes, Fraud, Money Laundering, Sex Crimes, Child Abuse and Neglect, and Crime Scene/Forensic Investigations. Prior to his retirement, he served as an adjunct faculty member for twelve years in the Criminal Justice Department at The University of Findlay and Owens Community College. Mr. Lucas is a member of the FBI National Academy and The Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.Mr. Lucas is a member of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children, FBI National Academy Associates, International Association of Identification, and International Homicide Investigators Assocation.
