Mohammed Jaber
Originally from North Olmsted, Ohio, Mohammed Jaber is poised to be one of the first graduates of The University of Findlay College of Pharmacy program. His class will be graduating in the Spring of 2010. Nonetheless, Mohammed has worked very hard to get to this position, and dedicated a lot of time in and out of the classroom. Upon graduating, he plans on completing a residency in Pharmacy Practice, then finding a position in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mohammed says that The University of Findlay College of Pharmacy is great for him because of the small classes and attention given to students. His favorite classes were Pharmacotherapeutics and Pharmacokinetics. While taking these classes, he has learned to make appropriate recommendations that have lead to clinical improvements in the lives of patients. Mohammed also gives credit to the wonderful faculty at UF saying, "Dean Stansloski is an amazing emotional motivator," "Dr. Parker and Dr. Shinn are extremely intelligent and enthusiastic professors inside the classroom," and "Dr. Earle is so focused on discovering new learning possibilities in students and making learning fun and easy."
Among Mohammed's many accomplishments, two of the brightest moments were when he completed a 12-week summer internship in 2008 at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and when he was selected to be a

Campus Manager for the Department of Pharmacy for Wal-mart Stores Inc. in 2007. Also with Walmart, Mohammed was selected as the Ohio representative for a Leadership Seminar. These have really been a learning experience for Mohammed, where he has learned a lot about the field of Pharmacy and developed managerial communication traits and abilities.
During his time with The University of Findlay College of Pharmacy, Mohammed was a member of the Academy of Student Pharmacists (ASP) and the American Pharmacist Association (AphA).  Other interests and activities include playing football and basketball, while spending the majority of his time with family and friends. His greatest interest in the field of Pharmacy is in non-traditional pharmacy roles. He has experience with non-dispensing pharmacists, nuclear pharmacists, and renal/neurology clinical specialists.
