Admission Information
For high school students, the Admissions Committee will select the 60 strongest candidates that best fit our program. Selection will be based on:
All aspects of the above list are taken into account when selecting our students. For the incoming freshmen, the College of Pharmacy will send letters of acceptance, non-admittance, or request to be placed into a wait list (there is no rank order to the students placed in our wait list). These letters should be sent by March 10. Our class size is 60 and we accept to that number. History has shown that when we send our first offers, not all accept. Typically about half of the students accept our offer and half of the studentrs decline. Some accepted students have even withdrawn at a later date. Therefore, a position on our wait list could be a very positive outcome as many students are applying to several programs. Most prospective freshmen will have 20 days to decide to accept or decline our offer. A nonrefundable enrollment deposit will be requested at that time if accepting a place in our College of Pharmacy. This enrollment deposit will be placed into the student’s UF account and will be used as an advanced payment for tuition and/or fees. Please note, final information regarding tuition, fees and costs along with financial aid packages may not be available until the end of March. You may need to work with the Financial Aid Office to estimate costs and awards. Their contact information is 419-434-4791 or finaid@findlay.edu.
