Web-Based Pharmacy Preceptor Training Program
This online educational program is designed to improve the skills of preceptors, regardless of prior experience. Through the use of self-evaluation, reflective responses and strategic planning, pharmacists will develop an individualized plan to improve their rotation experience for pharmacy students. This program is appropriate for any pharmacist interested in working with Ohio pharmacy students during their internship, introductory/intermediate pharmacy practice experiences (IPPEs), or advanced pharmacy practice experiences (APPEs). There is no fee for this Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) approved online program which offers 0.2 CEU (2 contact hours). The program is endorsed by the Ohio Council of Colleges of Pharmacy, Ohio Colleges of Pharmacy Experiential Programs and the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. 


To access the program:

1. Go to www.extendedknowledge.com
2. If you have never used Extended Knowledge, you will need to create 
    a new account.
3. Once you have created a new account, you may select the course you 
    would like to enroll.
4. You will choose "Preceptor Training Course."
5. Remember you username and password for future programs.
6. Complete the program, evaluation form and quiz.
