The purpose of graduate assistantships at The University of
Findlay is to provide a mutual benefit for the University and for the
student who serves in that capacity. By participating in specified
activities and assignments within the program area, the student makes a
valuable contribution to the University. The institution, in turn, makes
a commitment to ensure that the assistantship provides a positive
professional development experience for the student.
Applications
Graduate
assistantships are highly competitive. The College of Health
Professions has approximately 190 graduate students and typically six half
time assistantships are awarded.

Graduate Assistantships
A full time graduate assistantship
position is generally intended to be for the fall and spring semester
of the specified academic year.
There are three levels of annual graduate assistantship awards as indicated below:
1. Graduate Assistants (GA) - General work duties and athletic positions.
* $4,200.00 stipend for 20 hours per week
* 12 graduate credit hours of tuition remission
2. Teaching Assistants (TA) - Assist faculty with teaching duties.
* $7,200.00 stipend for 20 hours per week
* 12 graduate credit hours of tuition remission
3. Research Assistants (RA) - Assist faculty with research activities.
* $7,200.00 stipend for 20 hours per week
* 12 graduate credit hours of tuition remission
