Master of Science in Health Informatics

 

The Master of Science in Health Informatics degree program has earned approval from:

  • the Ohio Board of Regents (state-level)
  • the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (national-level)

Certificate in Health Informatics

 

The non-degree Certificate in Health Informatics program has earned approval from:

  • the Ohio Board of Regents (state-level)
  • the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (national-level)

There is presently no accreditation mechanism for non-degree Certificate in Health Informatics programs.
 
Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM)


Program accreditation is a 2-3 year process. CAHIIM develops and sets academic and accreditation standards for master’s degree programs in health informatics. The university intends to pursue future CAHIIM accreditation of the Master of Science in Health Informatics degree program.
