Both programs are designed for Fall-entry, with students taking two courses per term. Courses are offered once per academic year. Thus, for most students, the degree can be earned in two years and the certificate can be earned in one year.
Students are also able to take one course per term. Note that in doing so, there may be "gaps" in a student's academic plan (times when the next course to be taken is not offered). Consequently, it is likely to take longer for these students to complete either program.
