Here are just a few of the activities that you could enjoy as a student in one of UF’s communication programs:
PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America)
PRSSA is a student-run PR agency,
where students build skills, learn leadership abilities and network. Working
with real clients on real campaigns, PRSSA designs and executes public
relations plans for clients on and off the UF campus. We are proud to say that
this student organization has earned two national Teahan awards for
chapter development and community service.
UFTV
The University
of Findlay operates three separate television channels in the area, and UFTV
produces programming and entertainment that is distributed via Time Warner
Cable. Students work in front of the camera, behind the scenes and at master
control for live events.
WLFC-FM
WLFC-FM, 88.3, is The University of
Findlay’s radio station. Covering all or part of 14 counties in Northwest Ohio
and streaming online, it features new music and UF athletics. Thousands listen
to the station each week, and students have the opportunity to entertain and
inform listeners by working on air or in a support position.
The Pulse
The Pulse is the award-winning campus
newspaper published by The University of Findlay students. It publishes in
print and online. Students gain experience as writers, columnists, business
managers and technicians.
Web and media technology services (WMTS)
The Pulse is the award-winning campus

print and online. Students gain experience as writers, columnists, business
