The UF Concert-Chorale has a long and
distinguished history.
Participation is open to
all students without audition.
The Concert-Chorale presents annual Christmas and Spring concerts that
feature a wide variety of choral music, including seasonal
favorites and standard choral literature.
The Concert-Chorale, numbering about seventy five voices,
also performs major choral works such as Handel's "Messiah," "The
Creation" by Haydn, Mozart's "Requiem" and "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff.
Scholarships for participation are available and renewable for up to five years. In addition, several endowed vocal music scholarships ranging from $500 to over $1,000 are awarded annually.
Rehearsals: M/W, 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.
