6. What is the college looking for in a student?
Overall, the college looks for well-rounded students. We look at strong math and science skills, involvement in high school, community service, knowledge of pharmacy, and leadership skills.

8. Should I come visit campus?
Yes! You can call the undergraduate admissions to schedule a visit at 800-548-0932. The student will meet one-on-one with a pharmacy faculty member, a campus tour, and have lunch on campus. All your questions will be answered!
9. How many students do you accept?
Our pharmacy class size is 72 students.
10. When are the pharmacy interviews?
Typically, the interviews are scheduled for December, January and early February. The student will be called to schedule your interview via the phone number provided on the pharmacy application.
11. How is the decision made?
The selection is based on the interview, essay, applications (both UF and College of Pharmacy), and academic records (which include test scores).
12. When will I know if I have been accepted?
Letters of acceptance, non-admittance or request to be placed onto a wait list should be sent by May 2. Students will have to decide to accept or decline our offer. If a student accepts, a nonrefundable enrollment deposit will be requested at that time if accepting a place in our College of Pharmacy.
13. How will I get notified if I have been accepted into the pharmacy program?
The student will receive a letter via the mail.
14. What does it mean if I get wait listed?
This means that Findlay is interested in you as a prospective pharmacy student! Only 72 letters of acceptance are sent and not all 72 will accept. Being on the wait list could have a very positive outcome.
15. Why should I choose Findlay?
Findlay offers students a small class atmosphere and individual attention. Findlay’s professors teach each of our courses and are willing to meet with students outside of class. This medium-sized community of Findlay is safe and offers many opportunities to explore great food and community service experiences!
16. Are you an accredited College of pharmacy?
Yes, The University of Findlay College of Pharmacy has full accreditation by Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.
17. What is the pharmacy tuition at the university?
Pharmacy tuition is higher than other programs on campus. Our current tuition for the 2012-2013 year is 36,292.00 including fees. Please contact financial aid for additional information. 18. Does the university accept AP and Post-secondary credits?

19. How long is the program for Findlay’s pharmacy college?
Findlay’s pharmacy program is a total of six years. Five of those years will be on-campus. The first two years here, students are taking part in general education courses. The third year is devoted to introductory courses in pharmacy. The fourth and fifth years are the core preparation for professional practice in pharmacy. The sixth year is their advanced pharmacy practice, or clinical, year.
20. Do I have to live on campus?
