The Environmental Safety and Occupational Health program was started in 1986 and since then has graduated over 500 students who currently work in a number of occupations including:
Environmental consulting firms
Environmental remediation contracting firms
Fortune 500 manufacturers
County, state and federal governmental agencies
Public health agencies and county, state and federal level offices
We are very proud of a program that can list the following Points of Pride:
- 100 percent job placement
- Starting salaries of $45,000.00 to $63,000.00
- Average salary of $50,000.00
- Summer employment is available to qualified students – can net $7,000.00 for summer time work
- Nearly 100% placement in professional experience programs
- Average student completes degree in four years
- Learn from faculty that average 25+ years' experience in the environmental, safety and/or occupational health fields
- Learn from faculty that sit on both state and national boards in the areas of academics, safety, environment , watersheds and public health
