Girls, ages 8-16 are invited to work with our fine University of Findlay horses at Bryn Mawr Riding Camp. Located in rustic Northeastern Pennsylvania, Bryn Mawr Riding Camp offers one, two or three-week sessions. Beginning through advanced riders will enjoy quality instruction in hunt seat equitation, hunter/jumper and dressage riding. Campers will still participate in traditional summer camp activities including swimming, tennis, and arts and crafts.

The head coach of our English equestrian program works with the riding director at Bryn Mawr Riding Camp to select the very best UF horses for campers. The horses are chosen based on their skill sets, show experience and temperament. They range from hunt seat veterans and schoolmasters (perfect for beginner riders) to advanced dressage, hunters and jumpers, suitable for teaching upper level riders the intricacies of riding.
Campers at Bryn Mawr will ride horses that compete during the year in Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Horse Shows. The horses spend their summers at camp, helping campers achieve their riding goals. They are primarily thoroughbreds, warmbloods, appendix and quarter horses. UF also sends ponies, most of which are Welsh crosses.
A typical camp day includes one formal arena lesson and one informal lesson, involving trail riding, bareback riding, or games on horseback. Campers also attend clinics and learn barn management. Throughout each session, campers will participate in special activities such as horse shows, gymkhanas, demonstrations and workshops. Each session culminates in a hunter/jumper horse show for campers of all skill levels, as well as an exhibition ride for parents.
