Welcome to The University of Findlay, where students from around the world have found a place that encourages them in their academic studies and gives them a place to practice and improve their English languages skills. International students successfully participate in both undergraduate and graduate programs at Findlay.

The University’s student population of nearly 4,700 full-time and part-time students includes more than 450 international students from more than 40 countries. UF is ranked third highest in the U.S. for institutions of our size and type for the number of international students we enroll. We are proud of our long tradition of serving international students and our successful international graduates throughout the world.

The University of Findlay also offers a special program designed for international students who wish to learn about the English language and the culture of the United States. This unique program, leading to a bachelor’s degree in English as an international language (ENIN), allows students to earn academic credit while improving English language proficiency.

The Intensive English Language Program, which assists international students, has been in operation on Findlay’s campus since 1975. The program has several functions and can help students to succeed in gaining a bachelor’s degree in English as an international language, serve as a study abroad experience and assist students in preparing for graduate study in the United States.

At Findlay you will have the opportunity to learn about many exciting things, use your English language skills, participate in campus activities, engage in intramural and intercollegiate athletics and make friendships with people from many different countries.
