Whether this is your first child to go off to college or your fourth, there are always going to be questions! The University of Findlay is here to help, and that is a promise! We have listed some of the more common questions that we hear from parents, but remember - the Office of Undergraduate Admissions is staffed with knowledgeable professionals who will walk you through any question or concern. Will my child be eligible for financial aid or a scholarship?
90% of our students receive some form of financial aid. If you have completed the FAFSA and put The University of Findlay down to receive your information you should receive a packet from us.
Merit Scholarships range from $9,000 - $14,000 per year and are based upon high school GPA and ACT or SAT scores. When your child completes their application file they will receive a letter which will list their merit scholarship if applicable. You can contact your admissions counselor to check if your child is eligible.
Will my child be safe on campus?
You are entrusting your child with us and we take that responsibility very seriously. Each and every staff member is committed to your child's well being.
Our Security Office is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Pedestrian Escort Service is available 24 hours a day to walk students wherever they need to go on campus.
Emergency blue lights are located throughout campus for immediate assistance.
Emergency radio systems are installed in all building to provide immediate notification and direction in case of an emergency.
What will my child do on the weekends?
The University of Findlay has over 70 clubs and organizations that provide hundreds of events for students to enjoy all week (and weekend) long.
The University of Findlay is a NCAA Division II school which provides students with athletic entertainment in 23 different sports.
