Navigating the college admissions process can sometimes seem daunting to families. We at UF hope to de-mystify this process and assist you in your college search. Whether you have questions surrounding the application, admission requirements, standardized test taking, or visiting the campus, the undergraduate admissions website has been designed with you in mind.

Affiliated with the Church of God, General Conference, since our beginnings, we are a comprehensive private university founded in 1882 with a strong liberal arts tradition. We dedicate ourselves to educating and equipping students with the jobs skills they need to be competitive in their chosen field. UF offers over 60 majors, 23 varsity sports (NCAA Division II), and more than 75 clubs and organizations.

UF has a national reputation for excellence in education. The university is ranked in the top tier of Midwest colleges and universities by US News and World Report magazine. Additionally, UF has been named a "2008 Best Midwestern College" by The Princeton Review. We have also been named a “College of Distinction” and one of “America’s Best Private Colleges.”

The core of the UF experience is the one-on-one interaction our students have with faculty. Our students and alumni regularly cite UF’s focus on personal attention, individual academic advising, and caring environment as the hallmarks of their education. Our student-to-faculty ratio is 16:1, and professors, not graduate assistants, teach all of our classes.

The best way to get to know if Findlay is the best fit for you is to visit campus. We arrange our visits on an individual basis, so everything is tailored to meet your interests and needs. If your visit is over the noon hour, lunch is on us!
