Transfer Student Check List
_____ It's FREE TO APPLY! Apply on-line - Click here OR complete and return a paper application to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. _____ Send Official Transcript(s) from all college-level institutions previously attended. Final transcripts must be received and evaluated before acceptance or class registration.
_____ Acceptance Letter received from Undergraduate Admissions.
_____ Send $100 enrollment deposit - this releases your residence hall forms and reserves your place in the class. Deposit is due by May 1st and is fully refundable by May 1st.
_____ Residence Hall or Commuter Form received and returned. Return this form as soon as possible for first choice of residence hall room.
_____ Health Form received and returned.
_____ Physical Form received and returned (athletes only).
_____ Payment Plan information sent out by UF Business Office (Spring).
_____ Meal Plan information sent out.
_____ Make sure The University of Findlay is added to your FAFSA - UF school code: 003045.
_____ Make sure UF has received ALL official transcripts. Merit Scholarships are available for transfer students worth up to $12,000! However, we must have ALL of your official transcripts evaluated by the Registrar to form a cumulative GPA that will determine the monetary value of your scholarship.
_____ Financial Aid must be in order before registering for classes.
***Aid awards may be reduced late in the awarding year based on University's aid budget and number of awards made.***
_____ Attend a Registration session to register for classes: May 15th, May 24th, June 13th, July 13th, or August 23rd for Fall and December 3rd or January 3rd for Spring. Date subject to change.
