Graduate checklist​​​​

Are you applying for one of our undergraduate programs? If so, your current academic situation will determine what credentials you will need to apply.

NOTE TO ALL APPLICANTS: 

At no time are notarized copies of international credentials to be accepted for admission consideration. For those countries providing attested copies, see the approved Attestation policy. Faxed and scanned credentials are accepted.


If credentials are not issued in English, then a certified English translation along with the original language credential is required. If it is a copy of an original, the copy must be attested by an appropriate educational official within the home country.  If it is a copy the applicant is required to produce original educational credentials upon enrollment. See approved Attestation policy.


Masters of Business Administration Applicant


What Do I Need to Be Considered for Admission?

  • Application stating MBA and term desired at UF.  You can fill out an online application here​
  • Original and official credentials showing either completion and awarding of an undergraduate degree or credentials showing work completed through at least the 7th semester to ensure completion and awarding of a degree before starting graduate work. 

 

What Do I Need to Receive My I-20?

  • Financial documents required prior to issuance of I-20


    What Do I Need for Enrollment?

  • A verified OFFICIAL TOEFL score. Failure to provide this will result in taking at least one term in the Intensive English Language Program (IELP). IBT score of 79 (with a score of 20 or better in both the speaking and writing components)
  • An OFFICIAL ACADEMIC IELTS provided in lieu of TOEFL.  IELTS Academic Overall Band Score of  6.5 (with a minimum of 6.5 in all components of the test)
  • If presented with a GENERAL TRAINING IELTS, it cannot be accepted for language waiver, and if no ACADEMIC IELTS or TOEFL provided, this will result in taking at least one term in the Intensive English Language Program (IELP))


Master of Science in Environmental, Safety and Health Management​ Applicant


What Do I Need to Be Considered for Admission?

  • Application stating ENVM and term desired at UF.  You can fill out an online application here​.
  • Original and official credentials showing completion and awarding of an undergraduate degree, or work completed through at least the 7th term. 


What Do I Need to Receive My I-20?

  • Financial documents required prior to issuance of I-20


What Do I Need for Enrollment?

  • A verified OFFICIAL TOEFL score. Failure to provide this will result in taking at least one term in the Intensive English Language Program (IELP)
  • An OFFICIAL ACADEMIC IELTS provided in lieu of TOEFL.
    • If presented with a GENERAL TRAINING IELTS, it cannot be accepted for language waiver, and if no ACADEMIC IELTS or TOEFL provided, this will result in taking at least one term in the Intensive English Language Program (IELP).
  • An OFFICIAL GRE SCORE SHEET with a quantitative score in the 35th percentile or higher.
    • ​If not provided during admission process, student must either take the GRE and score in the 35th percentile or take ENVM502, Technical Review Course, in the first term of ENVM study.


Master of Education and Master of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Applicant

  • Application stating EDUC or TESOL and term desired at UF.  You can fill out an online application here​. 
  • Original and official credentials showing completion and awarding of an undergraduate degree, or work completed through at least the 7th term. 


What Do I Need to Receive My I-20?

  • Financial documents required prior to issuance of I-20


What Do I Need for Enrollment?

  • A verified OFFICIAL TOEFL score. Failure to provide this will result in taking at least one term in the Intensive English Language Program (IELP).
  • An OFFICIAL ACADEMIC IELTS provided in lieu of TOEFL.  
    • ​If presented with a GENERAL TRAINING IELTS, it cannot be accepted for language waiver, and if no ACADEMIC IELTS or TOEFL provided, this will result in taking at least one term in the Intensive English Language Program (IELP).
  • Three letters of recommendation. 
    • ​EDUC waives letter requirement if the admission Grade Point Average (GPA) is above minimum standards.
  • GOAL STATEMENT Required for TESOL Applicants


HEALTH PROFESSIONS APPLICANT (AT/OT/PA/PHARMD/PT)


NOTE:  Due to the unique nature of the requirements for Health Profession admission consideration, applicants to these programs are considered on a case-by-case basis, and may not  be eligible for direct admission consideration into the Master’s or Professional portion of their desired program. 
NOTE: School of Pharmacy: For admission consideration into the School of Pharmacy a 3.0 GPA out of a 4.0. Also a 100 IBT TOEFL score  is required and also must meet very specific sub scores: 22 for reading, 22 listening, 26 speaking, 24 writing. 


What Do I Need to Be Considered for Admission?

  • Application stating term desired at UF, the Health Profession program of study desired, and level of program (Undergraduate, Transfer, Master’s)  You can fill out an online application here​.​
  • Original and official credentials showing completion and awarding of the appropriate level of education for the level of program desired.  

What Do I Need to Receive My I-20?

  • Financial documents required prior to issuance of I-20

What Do I Need for Enrollment?

  • ​A verified OFFICIAL TOEFL score. o Failure to provide this will result in taking at least one term in the Intensive English Language Program (IELP).
  • An OFFICIAL ACADEMIC IELTS provided in lieu of TOEFL.  o If presented with a GENERAL TRAINING IELTS, it cannot be accepted for language waiver, and if no ACADEMIC IELTS or TOEFL provided, this will result in taking at least one term in the Intensive English Language Program (IELP).
  • Three letters of recommendation for DPT consideration.  Two letters of recommendation for MOT.  MAT does not require letters of recommendation.

Health Informatics
