Foreign Language Placement Test Procedures
If you have taken two years or more of French or Spanish, you are
strongly encouraged to take the foreign language placement exam.
If you place sufficiently high, you will receive foreign language
credits with a $60 payment per course. Notice that you are
required to do Step 1 of the placement exam from home prior to
your New Student Registration on campus.
Before coming to your Registration on campus, take the computerized
section on any computer that links with the internet. To begin the
exam, Click Here.
When the screen asks for your ID number, type in your six digit student ID Number.
After you have taken the computerized test,
Take the computerized section at least prior to Registration. If you can not take this section before you come to Registration, please contact Cathy Donovan.
When you come to campus for Registration, you will take the Listening Comprehension section at approximately 8:00 a.m.
Your first two scores will determine if you will be asked to write a
composition. A time will be scheduled for writing the
composition. The three test scores will determine if and how many
credits you will be awarded.
