​Admission Process Steps

  1. It's FREE TO APPLY!  Click Here to Apply
  2. Send official transcript(s) from all college-level institutions and high schools previously attended.  Final transcripts must be received and evaluated before acceptance or class registration.
  3. Acceptance letter received from Admissions.
  4. Send $100 enrollment deposit - this releases your residence hall forms and reserves your place in the class.  Deposit is fully refundable until May 1 (fall only) or November 1 (spring only). 


After Deposit is Received 

  1. Complete the online housing sign up through Simple Campus Housing as soon as possible to reserve​ your first choice of residence hall.
  2. Health Form received and returned.
  3. Physical Form received and returned (athletes only).
  4. Payment plan information sent out by UF Business Office (Spring).
  5. Meal Plan information sent out. 


If you have filed a FAFSA with your previous institution:

  1. Make sure The University of Findlay is added to your FAFSA - UF school code: 003045.
  2. Make sure UF has received ALL official transcripts.  Merit scholarships are available for transfer students worth up to $14,500!  However, we must have all of your official transcripts evaluated by the Registrar to form a cumulative GPA that will determine the amount of your scholarship.
  3. Financial aid must be in order before registering for classes.  

**Aid awards may be reduced late in the awarding year based on University's aid budget and number of awards made.** 


Registration and Orientation 

  1. ​Attend a New Student Registration session to register for fall classes in:  May, June or August.  Spring registration typically takes place at the end of November.  
  2. Attend New Student Orientation​ takes place each year the weekend before classes start in the fall. Please contact the Office of Admissions for specific dates.
