All endowed scholarships are available to UF sophomores, juniors and seniors. A limited number of scholarships are available to incoming freshmen, and these scholarships are awarded as part of the regular freshman admissions process. Endowed scholarships range from $500 - $1,500 each year.
Lorene King Ashby Scholarship

who plan to major in elementary education with an emphasis in early

to Hispanic/Latino students graduating from Lorain City Schools or
transferring to UF from Lorain Community College who plan to enter the
teaching field in a bilingual setting and who have a major/minor in a
language other than English, and have a major/minor in education or plan
to seek teaching credentials after graduation
