BE AN OILER!

The focus of Oiler Athletics has always been the student athlete. UF offers athletic scholarships for qualified students.
Noteworthy. . .
- There are 10 men's intercollegiate sports (including baseball, basketball, cross country and football), and 12 women's sports (including lacrosse, basketball, golf, dance and cheerleading). UF also offers two "mixed" sports; western and English equestrian riding.
- UF is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and competes in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). Our equestrian teams compete in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association.
- The men's basketball team won the NCAA Division II national championship in 2009, its first national title.
- In 2001, the equestrian teams won both the English and western IHSA national championships - making UF the only school to have won both titles in the same year.
