Another unique housing option that The University of Findlay offers to students are the special-interest and group houses. These single-family homes are all located within walking distance of campus and give students the option to live with students who share interests similar to their own.

There are a variety of established theme houses as well as houses that allow students to choose to identify their own group of friends to live with in a house. The theme houses include:
  • Men's Houses
  • Women's Houses
  • Pharmacy
  • Honors House
  • Pre-Vet/Equestrian Studies
  • International House
  • UJIMA House
