My teaching philosophy in art appreciation and art history is inspired by my passion for the visual arts. My goal is to develop visual literacy along with imparting art historical knowledge.

Interaction through visual analysis is encouraged during class, with an emphasis on decoding art objects. Students learn how to interpret the greatest achievements in art, which will prepare them for life-long learning.
