The University of Findlay - Martin L. Terry

Mr. Terry started working for Findlay Industries, Inc. as a intern while he was a junior at Findlay College. After graduating in 1966 he started working full time for Findlay Industries Inc. as an accountant. Mr. Terry then became the controller in November of 1966 when the existing controller retired. At that time Findlay Industries, Inc. had one plant and grossed about $12 million per year in sales. In 1976, Mr. Terry was elected corporate secretary and treasurer and named to the board of directors. Three years later Mr. Terry was elected financial vice-president, while still being the corporate secretary and treasurer along with the position on the board of directors.When Mr. Terry retired on December 31, 1997 at Findlay Industries, Inc. he was vice-president of human resources, corporate secretary and treasurer along with being on the board of directors. At that time the corporation had 25 plants and grossed over $500 million in sales.
