EMPLOYERS: Education Expo is the spring teacher recruiting event sponsored by the Education Expo Consortium that brings together over 400 teacher candidates from seven of Ohio’s private colleges and universities. This year’s fair will be hosted at a new site - Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. The 2012 Education Expo will mark the 36th year for this event sponsored by:

The registration fee plus one recruiter is $75.00. Additional recruiters to attend is $35.00 each.

Our teacher candidates have strong communication and leadership skills, are actively involved on their campuses, are self-motivated and committed to teaching, and possess a strong work ethic.

Education Expo is a well organized day with excellent hospitality and a dedication to employer service. The colleges and universities sponsoring Education Expo are committed to providing an individualized and cost-effective service that enables school systems to effectively recruit the candidates needed. The day includes a 90 minute open fair period followed by scheduled interviews.

Education Expo is part of the week long Buckeye Bonanza recruiting event which coordinates five teacher fairs across the state of Ohio representing over 3100 teacher candidates from nineteen colleges and universities. The April 16 – 20, 2012 Buckeye Bonanza will take employers to the teacher fairs at Ohio University, Ohio State University, Education Expo at Ohio Northern University, Bowling Green State University, and the University of Toledo.
