Instructions to Attend Open Fair

Employer Interview Options:
School districts who register to attend Education Expo will schedule all interviews on day of the event during the Open Fair. At the Open Fair you are welcome to approach any school district - regardless of whether or not they are seeking your licensure area. It is at the sole discretion of the interviewer as to whether or not you are granted an interview on the day of the fair.

Prior to Education Expo:
E-mail the contact person for your school's career services office to inform them that you plan to attend the job fair. Include your name, licensure area, graduation/program completion date, and email address. That way you will have a nametag waiting for you and any updates about Ed Expo can be sent to you.

Investigate the Participants coming to Education Expo and make a list of those you would like to speak to during the Open Fair.

Review the Job Fair Tips and Interview Tips, as well as the Directions, Parking and Lunch Accommodations information to ensure you are properly prepared to attend the event.

On the Day of the Fair:
Arrive early to be able to register and get familiar with the layout of the fair, so that at 8:00 a.m. you are ready to start talking with employers.

Once the Open Fair period is over, you will not be able to speak with employers unless you have a scheduled interview.
