Physician Assistant Curriculum

The following text is taken from The University of Findlay's current undergraduate and/or graduate catalog.

Degree requirements for those individuals starting the PA program in a spring semester.
The Master of Physician Assistant consists of PHAS 500, 501, 502, 503, 504, 505, 510, 511, 512, 513, 514, 520, 521, 522, 523, 524, 530, 531, 532, 533, 534, 535, 601, 602, 603, 604, 605, 606, 611, 612, 613, 614, 615, 616, 617 and 618.

The Master of Physician Assistant consists of PHAS 500, 501, 502, 503, 505, 506, 508, 510, 511, 512, 513, 514, 520, 521, 522, 523, 524, 530, 531, 532, 533, 534, 535, 601, 602, 603, 604, 605, 606, 611, 612, 613, 614, 615, 616, 617 and 618.

EDUCATION PROGRAM: The Master of Physician Assistant is a professional degree program intended to prepare students academically and professionally for responsibilities and service as a physician assistant. This entry-level master's degree prorgram is divided into two phases and spans 28 consecutive months. Phase I represents the pre-clinical phase and spans 16 months. Phase II  consists of 12 months of supervised-clinical practice. These phases are constructed as follows:

The Physician Assistant Program is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).  The successful completion of the professional program allows the graduate to sit for the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE).
