major in equestrian studies-English riding/training emphasis consists of 48 semester hours, including the four core courses (12 semester hours) and EQST 123, 124, 223, 224, 323, 324, 423, and 424. In addition, the student must complete 12 hours of equine electives. ANSC 331, 332, 351, 352, 353, and 354 can be used toward the equine electives requirement.
A major in equestrian studies-western riding/training emphasis consists of 48 semester hours, including the four core courses (12 semester hours) and EQST 121, 122, 221, 222, 321, 322, 421, and 422. In addition, the student must complete 12 hours of equine electives. ANSC 331, 332, 351, 352, 353, and 354 can be used toward the equine electives requirement.
A major in equine business management consists of 48 semester hours, including the four core courses (12 semester hours) and EQST 302; one course from BUAD 150 or ECON 201; EQST 337; one course from BUAD 310 or EQST 435; ACCT 220; BUAD 311, 321; and MRKT 326. In addition, the student must complete 12 hours of equine electives. ANSC 331, 332, 351, 352, 353, and 354 can be used toward the equine electives requirement.
