Pre-Veterinary Medicine Curriculum

The following text is taken from The University of Findlay's current undergraduate and/or graduate catalog.

To receive your bachelor of science degree from The University of Findlay, you must also complete BS/Graduation and Degree Requirements in addition to your pre-veterinary medicine curriculum.

A major in animal science/pre-veterinary medicine option consists of EQST 101 or ANSC 131; EQST 201 or ANSC 231; EQST 202 or ANSC 232; ANSC 310 or BIOL 310; ANSC 499; CHEM 130, 130L, 131, 131L, 310, 310L, 311, 311L, 400; ANSC 351, 352, 353, 354, or 355; 15 hours from the following with nine hours at the 300-level or higher: ANSC 133, 134, 320, 330, 331, 332, 404, EQST 102, 103, 104, 203, 301, 302, 311, 332, 337, 380, 401, 402, 403, 404, 411, 412, 435, PVET 110, 310, 490, EQST 480 or ANSC 480 (maximum of six hours), EQST 490 or ANSC 490 (maximum of six hours). Highly recommended courses include BIOL 150, 150L, 152, 152L, 300, 302, 322, 322L, 323, 323L, 331, 412, 412L, 413, 413L; PHYS 250, 250L, 251, 251L.
