Traditional Application Process
The department of physical therapy at The University of Findlay participates in the Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service, known as PTCAS.
Applicants seeking admission into the traditional curriculum must apply online using the PTCAS application. The PT program application deadline is November 15. All PTCAS materials should be submitted six weeks prior to the application deadline, November 15, to allow time for processing by PTCAS. There is a $45 fee to apply.
PTCAS is the only application needed for consideration
into the traditional physical therapy program. There is no need to apply
to The University of Findlay prior to acceptance. Upon acceptance,
successful applicants will then be required to submit a copy of all
official college transcripts to The University of Findlay.
Applicants must send official university/college transcripts to PTCAS.
Create a PTCAS account today and learn more about the process.
The PTCAS will provide a copy of the observation hour verification form upon request. However, all applicants must submit their hour verification electronically.
Weekend (PTA to DPT) Application Process
Admission to the physical therapy program is a two-step process:
- Applicants must first apply to The University of Findlay using our online graduate application. Applicants must send official college/university transcripts to the Office of Admissions.
- A separate program application along with the program recommendation form needs to be completed for consideration into the weekend doctor of physical therapy curriculum (this process should be started six weeks prior to the May 1 deadline). An application fee of $45.00 should be mailed to the Department of Physical Therapy. Applicants will be notified of their admission status after August 1.
Admission to The University of Findlay does not imply or guarantee admission to the physical therapy program.
