Applications Being Accepted to Forensic Science Camp

Findlay, Ohio – The University of Findlay is accepting applications for the second summer CSI-Findlay Forensic Science Camp. The camp will be held July 23-26 on the UF campus. The first CSI-Findlay camp was held June 25-28.

The camp is open to students who will be in grades 10-12 in the fall of 2006. Enrollment is limited.


Students at fake crime scene CSI-Findlay Forensic Science Camps will provide participants with an introduction to the world of forensic science, criminal justice and law. Students will be given the opportunity to use deductive reasoning and scientific skills to uncover a series of unsolved crimes using current forensic techniques and explore unsolved crimes. Campers will experience the practical use of biology, chemistry and mathematics to examine evidence left behind at the crime scene and attempt to identify the suspect.

The camp is directed by faculty in the University’s forensic science program.
The cost for the four-day camp is $300, which includes instructional fees, meals and lodging in University housing.
