The University of Findlay had a strong presence at the Hancock County Fair during its
125th anniversary year.
Both the English and western equestrian programs presented demonstrations Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, giving fair-goers two opportunities to learn about the many things horses can be trained to do by UF faculty, staff and students. The western equestrian team captured its third Intercollegiate Horse Show Association national title in 2007; the English equestrian team earned the 2007 reserve national championship title.
In the merchant building, UF representatives spoke with many community members about the history of the University as well as its current programs and offerings. A large display was set up with historical photos and other materials.
