More than 400 students will graduate from The University of Findlay during fall commencement ceremonies at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, in the Koehler Center on campus.

A total of 228 graduate degrees will be awarded including 153 master of business administration degrees; 41 master of arts in education degrees; 14 master of occupational therapy degrees; 10 master of environmental safety and health management degrees; 9 master of arts in TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages) and bilingual education degrees; and one master of athletic training degree.

A total of 162 undergraduate degrees will be conferred including 130 bachelor of science degrees and 32 bachelor of arts degrees.

A total of 20 associate of arts degrees will be conferred.

Among the UF graduates are 133 international students who will receive master’s degrees and five international students who will receive bachelor’s degrees. Those students represent the countries of India, Nepal, Taiwan, Thailand, China, Japan, Korea and Burma.

Former United States senator Michael DeWine will give the commencement address. DeWine served as an Ohio senator from 1994 through 2006.
Previously, he served in the U.S. House of Representatives for eight years and as Lieutenant Governor of Ohio for four years. DeWine is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio and Ohio Northern University College of Law.

The University’s traditional Arch Ceremony will immediately follow commencement at approximately 3:30 p.m. at the Griffith Memorial Arch.
