Even the University’s student media had an opportunity to be involved in the event. Student reporters, photographers and videographers were asked to arrive at the designated media entrance to Croy to be checked and screened with other media representatives from CNN, the Associated Press and many area television and radio stations. WLFC 88.3, the campus radio station, carried the event as a live broadcast. Student media representatives were given the same access to press areas as other representatives from major media outlets.
