Findlay, Ohio, Feb. 4, 2000 – Eight students from The University of Findlay will exhibit their artwork in the Senior Art Exhibition Feb. 14 through March 17 in the Dudley and Mary Marks Lea Gallery, Virginia B. Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion.
The exhibit will feature the work of the following students: Erica Allen, Jeanette Andersen, Kelly Fox, Kelly Frye, Terri Garber, Chad Henderly, Andrea Ludwig and Kristina Roberts. An opening reception will be held on Feb. 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Gardner Fine Arts Pavilion. The reception is open to the public.
A studio art major with a minor in French, Erica Allen of North Olmsted, Ohio, will graduate in December 2000. She plans to pursue a career in teaching or in an art museum after graduation.
Jeanette Andersen of Grosse Pointe, Mich., will graduate in May with a bachelor’s degree in art education with certification in K-12 and an associate’s degree in gerontology. She will seek employment as a teacher in Findlay.
Findlay native Kelly Fox will graduate in December 2000 with a degree in children’s book illustration. She plans to return to UF to obtain her teaching certification.
Kelly Frye of Findlay will graduate in May with a bachelor’s degree in art/visual communications. She plans to pursue a career as a graphic artist in the Findlay area.
Terri Garber of Covington, Ohio, and will graduate in December 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in interior design. She plans to move back to the Miami Valley area.
Chad Henderly of Toledo will graduate with his degree in art education with a 7-12 certification. He wants to teach in the Toledo Public Schools and coach wrestling.
A studio art major, Andrea Ludwig of Chelsea, Michigan will graduate in May. She plans to seek a career which will use her creative talents in painting and drawing.
Findlay native Kristina Roberts will graduate in the May 2001 with a degree in art education with certification in K-12. She will seek employment as a teacher in the Findlay area.
The Lea Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
