UF Plans Math Day

Findlay, Ohio, March 1, 2000 – The University of Findlay will host Math Day on Tuesday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The first presentation, “Searching for Transcendental Numbers,” will be given at 10 a.m., and the presentation “Fun with Numbers” will be given at 1 p.m.
The presenter for the day is Lisa Elderbrock. A native of Findlay, Elderbrock earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Muskingum College and went on to receive a master’s degree in statistics from The Ohio State University. She earned her doctoral degree in mathematics from Bowling Green State University in 1996.
Currently, Elderbrock is an assistant professor of mathematics and computer science at Northern Kentucky University.
